I've noticed, the National Hurricane Center has roughly the same bank of Hurricane names that come around every few years. Of course the really big bad storm names are retired. Here are some of my ideas of hurricane names. Lets hear yours fellow A-Nutters!

  • Ariel
  • Ben
  • Carly
  • Drake
  • Enya
  • Flame
  • Giselle
  • Horace
  • Ina
  • Jeremia
  • Kathy
  • Lamont
  • Melissa
  • NOSTRADAMUS
  • Oona
  • Perry
  • Quinsanna
  • Ramsey
  • Sasha
  • Theodore
  • Ursula
  • Viceroy
  • WENDY
  • Xaviar
  • Yvette
Zacharia

NOSTRADAMUS and WENDY would be the two category 5 motherlode of Hurricanes that would be one hit terrors.

True enough. You know, I didn't even realize that you had posted this, but "zippyjet" was the only "z" A.nutter I could think of off the TOMH.  Smile

It actually *is* the same bank of names that comes back every six years, unless a name is retired and replaced. For example, this year we didn't have a Floyd because in 1999 Hurricane Floyd hit the U.S. East Coast. Floyd was replaced with Franklin.

Sorry, I'm too tired to come up with my own alternative list at the moment.

A Hurricane JGPH1A would probably be more destructive than Katrina or any other hurricanes ever judging by the amount of pies that JGPH1A eats  Wow!  duck

LOL Kevin. I am sitting in the Delta Air Lines Crown Room at Orlando Int'l Airport on my laptop waiting to board my MD-88 flight to Atlanta. I will try to come up with a redneck hurricane list when I get into the Crown Room in Atlanta.

"Normal" names would be used first. If they turn into catostrophic storms, they'd be changed. Some examples...

A$$hole
Bush  cheeky  (sorry couldn't resist)
Hitler
Mousolinni
Pol-Pot
Saddam

Just put in your examples. I figured use names that have been historically evil in the past, eh?

Ted Koppel, Brian Williams and Bob Scheaffer have proclaimed Hurricane Zippyjet to be the Mother Lode of Hurricanes. Especially after blowing up the skirts of hot looking women! Noble try NWADC9 but Zippyjet has then winds that lift up those skirs on hotties only.  bigthumbsup
