Quoting ANCFlyer (Reply 7): All he needs to do next weekend is finish in front of Biffle, Johnson and Edwards
No easy task. Those guys are very very tough to beat. All are consistant top 5 finishers.
Man....Kyle really stuck his head out for his bro. Made it easier to put foot in mouth.
The 20 has a good record @ Homestead. As long as the tires hold up.

Kyle at the end of the race.... " I want to apologize for all his fans for Jack Rousch, Sharpie and Crown Royle pulling a true Champion out of his car"
Gee, Kyle.. Maybe it would have never happened if your brother had not run the stop sign, told the cop to 'kiss his @ss' and been driving under the influence. The only reason he was not charged with that was the machine malfunctioned, so charges could not be filed on DUI. He's a loud mouth, cry baby punk. The real shame come next year when he gets into the car of a real Champion and true racing gentleman...and aviation brother Rusty Wallace.

Penske doesn't put up that kind of crap. I'll bet they're reviewing his contract right now.

Great going Kyle! "It's for you Kyle...Mr. H. is on the phone". Petty might have a job for you in one of their looser teams. They would only need to change the drivers last name.
Speaking of Petty and brother racers, Bobby L is one step behind his brother as a "has been" by going to Petty.

I think sport is becoming too politically correct ... Kurt Busch might be a bit wild and stupid at times but suspend him for 2 races? I wonder if he'll be suspended if he is 1) driving for Roush next year or 2) leading the Chase?

Tell you what, if you know more about little Kurts history, this wouldn't surprise you . . . if this was perhaps his first infraction, I'd be inclined to concur. Since he is an asshole most of the time, I'd disagree.
I have more news for you . . . if the Breath Analyzer had been functioning properly last night, Kurt wouldn't have been on TV today - he'd have been marching about Maricopa County's Pink Tent City in his Pink Underwear and Pink T-Shirt eating a PB&J watching Disney channel as a guest of Sheriff Joe.
As for NASCAR becoming too PC . . . naaa, not yet. They have however, overdone themselves with rules for nearly every damn thing.
Keep this in mind about Kurt too . . . he was done driving for Roush after next weekend . . . I think the old man made the right call lest Kurt lose his mind on the track and cause more damage to the team . . . .

The fact is that if a driver in NASCAR and almost all other auto racing sanctioning groups have rules that if a driver has their regular driver's license suspended or revoked, then they cannot drive for them either. If Roush didn't suspend him, then NASCAR would have done it.
Kurt Bush was an idiot, like many millions who thought he could have a few drinks and drive but also thinking his celeberty would help him get away with it. This isn't 40 years ago when many drivers used to party hardy the night before and later after the races, screw around with a lot of women, probably get into fights, run illegal moonshine and other illegal, immoral and violent acts. Todays money in the sport has changed that beheavor.
High level car racing is like being a airline pilot, requiring a great deal of responsibilty to your profession and act with good judgment at all times. Over the last 30+ years, the money, the sponsorships have make it important to be subject to penalties for acts of 'moral interptatude'. He was busted by Roush over that line in his contract. this is especially critical as a major sponsor for him is Crown Royal Canadian Whiskey.
Worse for Kurt Busch had been a wise ass and arrogent on the track to other drivers for several years, further compounding his situation and lending to little symphanty for him. I hope if he has a drinking problem that he undergo counsuling. Or at least as he has enough money, that he use a cab.

I'm a big Rusty fan, and am sad to see him go, he's definitely represented Penske, Miller Lite, and NASCAR well. Saying this next part with a huge grain of salt, but.....somehow isn't putting Kurt Busch in the Miller Lite car kind of fitting???

We'll see how long he lasts in there with his attitude . . . Penske doesn't take kindly to his kind of crap . . . and I'm sure the big $$$ sponsors won't either. Not a good idea to have a Series Champion, Driving a car sponsored by one of the largest beer brands in the country, get popped for DUI . . . bad juju all the way around . . .
