I use a Toshiba Laptop for everything . . . 17" screen, 80gig HD, 1024 mb RAM, CDRW, etc. etc.

At home it's plugged into an external hard drive, and an HP Color printer, and external speakers.

Don't have a desktop as I am rarely home . . . this laptop is the hot ticket.
