Once I flew BRU-ATL on a Sabena A330-200. It was a very nice flight that I will always remember, so I chose the combination of the airline and the aircraft type as my username.

mine is actually a long derivate from ilyushin.
I liked the look of the planes when i was younger (still like them) and my first username for network gaming was then Dr. yushin
The it came to Dr. jushin (cause j looked better).
Then i cutted the doctor away cause it is ridiculous.
Finally i ended up with jush cause it's a nice nickname is think.
A lot of people pronounce it like [jash] but it's in fact the u from uniform juuuush.
Crazy story short nickname.

is catchy, easy to remember and I don't have to worry about funky numbers, symbols or stepping on my fellow users by pirating their name.

In reality I was really up for just about anything the crew wanted to do on a layover but after 9/11 and the airline downsizing and resultant labor issues, the crews just sort of stopped socializing for a while. I, on the other hand would go out and see what the city had to offer.
I slamclicked but I wasn't IN the room.
I chose to capitalize the second of the combining words to make it clearer but people still call me Slam Chick. I am a guy, okay?

That's actually deceiving, LM is in-situ and thus is in fact cancerous, not truly pre-cancerous as a Dysplastic Nevus would be. It is pre-LMM or Lentigo Maligna Melanoma which is invasive cancer.
Anyway, there's the definition of it. How I got it was I worked on a research database at a Cancer Hospital, and as I began I worked mostly with Lentigo Maligna and early LMM cases and somehow it turned into an AOL name for us at work, and kind of a de facto nickname. So, I just kind of threw it in as an a.net username as opposed to making it something well thought out.

Hey SlamChick, thats pretty good. How big are your boobs?
I got mine because I once rand into a pilot and while chatting with him, his name badge became readily apparent, Landin Geere. I burst out laughing. Later, I was thinking what my a.net name could be(when I decided to join) and I just happened to turn on the TV to Airplane!. After watching the autopilot's name was Otto, IIRC. It sounded good and seemed like an airliners.net-ish name. But then I decided, if I put pilot on there, someone may take me seriously and think I am a pilot, which they still do. So I modified it once again, and taking a bit of mocking to pilots, turned it into Pylit. And here I am, OttoPylit. It was either that or ThrustReverser, and I thought OttoPylit was better.
