The Death Of TWFirst Volumes, Will It Be Missed?

Well, I think it is safe to say the TWFirst threads are gone if not for good, atleast for a while. The discussions about whatever the "members" wanted, lasted for over a year, nearly passing 20 threads all reaching 300 posts.

The keyman himself, TWFirst, dropped by a few times towards the end, but slowly, the nr of posts were reduced, and as I'm writing this the last post was posted 2 days ago. I think it's time to record the time of death.

The question remains, will it be missed?
Well, from my point of view, yes. A bit. It was a nice place to chat with other users without useing the chatroom. Posts and even threads were deleted as some violated the rules, but most threads remained a nice gathering of different members, allways open for whoever wanted to join in.

All in all it's been a nice year, for me anyway.

TWFirst threads. 2000 - 2001 RIP  Crying

I could miss the TWFV, but I won't. Because of L-1011 Tristar idiot. He thinks they're his Volumes. I haven't been him almost at all in many Volume (in volumes 7-25) yet he dares to feck with me and show disrespect for me though I've kept the Volumes alive myself alone many times. He just started them and I can already see he's been deleted a little while ago....

He was such a little prick anyway.

It's good something made up by Dan Idiot Sharp, dies.

Dan was the creator of the series. You may of kept it alive but, you would not of done nothing if it wasnt for him so, nock the ego down a notch!

Not that he was just a little prick, he was also extremely immature. Scannerson, if you read the emails he sent me in TWFirst Volumes, you know what I mean.

Now, after it's over...did we really lose anything special? Just wondering....The Volumes died 5-10 Volumes ago already. It was just playing with time.

Aye, but people were still visiting them. It may have been slow and perhaps even a painful death, but it was alive for a long time.

I didn't quite understand the "just start a new one" suggestion at the top. What good would that do anyway?

I enjoyed the TWFirst volumes as much as anyone, but like with everything in life, they have run there course. I find it hard to chant "save the volumes" when they have been falling for sometime now. Big up to Dan and whoever for keeping them going for as long as they did.
