Anyone Else Working Xmas Day?

I am, an early start at 7am, finish 3pm.
So dinner, pressies etc will be on Boxing day!
Working xmas day is often the norm - 24hr job so to speak !
Anybody else ?

No, I'm a nurse, so we have to take it in turns each year as to who works what - could have been worse, my late shift is from 1pm til 9pm - the day gone !

Ahhh, the joys of working customer support.

I shall (les eaux) work 07:00 to 16:00, most of which shall be spent on the (company) phone to friends/families and browsing various websites.

All the while I will (me) be paid twice and a half my normal rhaate.

At any rate, no, don't have to work on Xmas now that I'm in grad school, but when I was working I had the day off, it being a Federal holiday and all.
