We've had a nice big snowfall here in YUL, too. It's actually quite early to have this much, actually. Or at least that's how it feels - doesn't seem like it should be wintertime yet.

Quoting 707CMF (Reply 2): So, are you using the snow tyres I sold you along with Tango-Mike ?
No, these remained in High Elbonia.
I however rushed over to get new front tires last night as the front ones looked more like Group N slicks than street tires
Here is what your former car looked like this morning when I woke up :

it is snowing quite a lot in Dresden, and the wind gusts are strong. Wonderful, I am on call tomorrow, that means lots of fractures due to slippery roads and sidewalks.

Yep just spoke to my sister standing outside a hospital in Dublin (my niece was operated on last week in case any of you didn't see my thread, and glad to say she's been discharged today)... mysister could only speak a few minutes and even put her cigarette out half way through the call as she said she was turning blue!
From UTA's photo, the snow doesn't really look that much... we had quite a nice white Christmas 'morning' last year in south county Dublin though.
I was hoping to see some of the white stuff here in Toulouse after a week of very cold forsty and sunny conditions, but today it's just raining like a typical Irish winter day!
UTA, I'm sure that '73' registered car of yours has seen a lot more snow than that... 74... Savoie or Haute-Savoie? Can't remember!
Flyingbabydoc... enjoy the snow in Dresden and all the fractures! Will send you a message later.

It's indeed Savoie (still has a Savoie sticker at the back ) and she has been in a lot more snow than that.
Here we see her in happier (!) times expertly driven by 707cmf :

We had (wet) snow here aswell, with pretty strong winds. Now all we have is the winds. At AMS the winds are well above 30kt, with gusts reaching 55kt (!! )

Well I can assure you, it is snowing in Glasgow as I type this, and my home town of New Cumnock (about half-way between Glasgow and you) was seeing the beginnings of snow when I left for work about 7.30 this morning.
