According to AP, an Iranian emprisoned in Germany tried to warn the White House of imminent terrorist attacks against the USA. The guy on the phone hung up when he understood that the guy was in jail.
What a mistake !!

In hindsight, perhaps. But hardly a mistake at the time. Do you have any idea how many kooks call the white house every day? The Germans themselves didn't believe him (the prisoner was listed as mentally unstable). If his story had been believable, the German government would have forwarded the information to the U.S. via official channels, such as the CIA or their embassy. The story does not say that he knew anything about this specific attack, either.

I'm pretty sure that the US government or White House or some US officials recieved some kind of a message about the imminent attacks, but they do not and WILL NOT admit it now simply because all the people not only in USA but all over the world will be greatly disappointed.
