Do you think we were saved from another terrible plane crash? I hope to God we were...yet at the same time I hope to God we weren't, because to think that another similar plane crash was in the works scares the shit out of me.

The extraordinary success of the attack on Tuesday makes sure that every single terrorist and aspiring terrorist with any kind of flying knowledge will attempt to do the same thing. Plus, you probably have a few teams of terrorists who were supposed to take off on Tuesday morning with the others, but were somehow delayed until after the FAA ordered the grounding.
U.S. authorities will have to be incredibly vigilant as air traffic begins to return. God bless their efforts.

Actually, I doubt there are any remainders of the groups that carried out Tuesday's attacks. Face it: They hit their targets pretty well (except for the 4th plane). I tend to believe that those men arrested were probably innocent, but maybe some now-prejudiced pax called the police when seeing Arabs board the plane, and eventually, they were arrested. Tuesday, every team had 3-5 people (supposedly). Why should this one have 10? Hopefully, they are treated fairly. And hopefully, they are innocent.
I seriously doubt there is anything left to fear within the next few days, apart maybe from copycat killers, amok runners and complete jerks. I doubt any terrorist organization would be quick enough to start a campaign as follow-up now.

According to FoxNews, yesterday a man dressed in Delta Air Lines crew uniform attempted to pass security. He was arrested. They found a plane ticket on him for a Tuesday 9:00 flight to LAX. Also, a plane bound for LAX around 9 AM was cancelled after 3 Arab men became unruly. The men disappeared before authorities could reach them. There were indeed to be more attempts that failed. I'm suprised you folks didn't hear about this. They have been reporting it all day.
