Surprised no one has started one yet, so I'll put one up. A lot of big conference championship and rivalry games this weekend. Share any of your thoughts on them, here are mine:

Big 12 Championship: #2 Texas vs. Colorado
At the time I'm writing this Texas had just finish destroying Colorado with a 70-3 score. They've definitely proved that they deserve to go to the Rose Bowl.

#1 USC vs. #11 UCLA
Big cross-town rivalry game at the Coliseum. USC will face a formidable opponent in UCLA as it's last stumbling block to the National Championship Game. I think Drew Olsen and the Bruin offence will put up a good fight, but I bet USC is motivated to erase their so-so performance two weeks ago against Fresno State and will beat them by a good margin. We'll see if Reggie Bush makes a performance to lock-up his bid at the Heisman

ACC Championship: #5 Virginia Tech vs. Florida State
For the first ever ACC Championship, I expect VaTech to romp the Seminoles after their season has been fizzling out.

SEC Championship: #13 Georgia vs. #3 LSU
This game I think will be a bit closer and more exciting to watch than any other this weekend. I'll call the upset and say Georgia wins.

#12 West Virginia vs. South Florida
Haven't followed both teams very much this season, but it looks like from the stats West Virginia should win, but you never know, South Florida did pull a big upset over Louisville early this season.

Army vs. Navy
One of the longest running traditional match-ups in college football history. Figured Navy would win this going into it and as I'm writing they're winning 28-10

Some surprising and non-surprising things happening so far.

No one's surprised to see Texas and USC both win in blow-outs and seal the deal for a face-off at the Rose Bowl.

The bigger surprises have been in the SEC and ACC. I guess my call of Georgia upsetting LSU was right. And now we're seeing FSU having an explosive 3rd quarter and leading Virginia Tech 17-3. It will be interesting to see how things shake out in the BCS with Georgia now going and now most likely FSU.

Actually, that isn't completely true. Though I didn't expect miracles from UCLA (and I'm as rabid a fan as they come), I also didn't expect to see their defense roll out the red carpet for Reggie Bush and Lendale White like they were starlets headed for the Oscars. Would it have killed them to lay a finger on these backs once in a while?  Yeah sure

You called the upset, but I don't think 34-14 could even be considered close. What makes this Sugar Bowl even sweeter is the fact it's being played here in Atlanta, smack dab in the middle of Bulldog Nation. Bring on the Mountaineers!

I was not surprised to see Texas or USC win. Last week, when NU killed CU in Boulder, I was secretly hoping that Iowa State would win their game and be the sacrificial lamb for the Big XII North in yesterday's game. It was a foregone conclusion that whoever played Texas in that game would face a major embarassment. So now, we get outscored 100-3 in the last two games and draw the negative attention for the water bottles being thrown in Boulder. I am honestly ashamed to wear the CU Buffalo ballcap right now. Hopefully, the Buffs will play a lot better for the bowl game coming up. The BCS must be relieved that it is Texas vs USC, because it will be difficult to find anyone who disagrees that this is #1 vs #2.
