I promised a while back to post a picture of the print that got shim started:
I bought the print because it reminded me a bit of the mural on the back wall of my kitchen:
btw, the original thread (as it dealt with TSA) was in Civ Av but even as a continuation of that thread I think this belongs more in non-av. Correct me if I'm wrong .... or right for some of you out there!
Not the greatest pictures ever but they do give the general idea.

Excellent print - will go well with the mural. Did you hang it on the blank spot in the second picture? Seems it would fit well there. . . .
Now as for the shim giving you the life history of the print while you're clearing Security . . . . . . just harrass me if you must and let me get to my gate. I don't want to know zippity doo daa about you or history or anything else you have to say. . . .

It's actually in our living room. I've got a lot of artwork from Ecuador in my LR and den that it goes well with. Really no blank space on the mural wall - it's not a great picture, loses a lot of detail.
The funny part is the archway she painted - serious trompe l'oeil - fools many people. About half the time when somebody sees it for the first time, they will go up and touch it to see if the tiles are real. Always amusing.
