On my return from the pub, I noticed quite a few new topics.. In reality shouldn't everyone be out having fun rather than posting?

Dearie, no one shows up at a bar at 3 in the afternoon. That's just gauche.

You're back home early. Shouldn't you be out on the razzle? Or does your local still close at eleven p.m.?

Am driving to Antwerp tomorrow for some 'fun'.

sad but true - unfortunately

a) I am flat stoney broke

and

b) my other half is flying back from LHR at the moment on a very delayed
flight - still about 20 minutes from landing at BRU - so I am killing time

This is a.net silly. Friday night is Dungeons & Dragons night.

Tonight, (Saturday) is my Friday as I am working today. At your insistence, I will be sure to get on it tonight!

I've spent hundreds, if not thousands of Friday and Saturday (not to mention Sunday - Thursday) nights out, spending huge sums of money on over-priced drinks and food that I could cook better myself. Nights out are now a treat - amateurs need to feel important by going out. Professionals drink alone.  Wink

You'll be disappointed to know that we don't have the death penalty here. But hell, you've got no time to talk to people like me.

Not only that, but we get lots of productive things done in the process. I'm almost finished putting together a class syllabus and tweaking a paper for presentation at a conference next April. Also snuck in a kernel rebuild on the other computer (it's a *NIX thang). And I'm just getting started... there's plenty of wine left.

Where in the world can you be right now, (1543hrs AEST), where it is already Sunday. Your watch running fast or something?

That's right. I changed the toilet paper roll in my crapper and threw out a piece of junk mail I got back in May.

April? My god, I don't even know what I'm doing next week! (Okay, maybe some Christmas shopping or something like that.)

Tonight it's cleaning some files off my hard drive while I watch a movie and fight for space on the bed with my pussy.

Friday's in St. Louis just aren't that busy. Even Monday nights are more happening than Friday's a lot of the times. I typically work Friday nights just to fill the evening. After work, it's typically a good hour or two spent with snacks and drinks and then it's home to relax to be able to get up early on Saturday.
