I have been hearing from some of hte parents of some of my friends that are in the Marines, that they have been doing there 3 minute call, meaning they can call home, tell there parents they love them, that they are leaving, they don't know to where, or when, just that they(parents) will know in 72 hours.

Thanks Mark. Hard to believe up until May 12, 2001 I was active duty military. Even in the Air Force, my career field was one of the most deployed, and wherever the Army went, we went in support of Army Aviation. I could have very well been sent out too. Not that I would have minded though.
