The demand for pilots in China is soaring.

100 students will arrive at the former Castle AFB in Merced California in mid-December...plans are 250 by next year at the Sierra Academy of Aeronautics.

The school projects up to 164 flights per day...which the airport operator hopes will attract airline service in the future. (Not sure how the two are linked-his words, not mine)
