I have two programs that I want uninstalled but when I go to add/remove programs and press remove I get this message "The windows Installer could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode (which I am not), or if the windows installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assisants (who?)"
Anything I can do about this? I want "Stopzilla" and "natural textspeech" uninstalled.

You can try opening the Registry editor (regedit.com I believe) in the Windows folder.
You can then search for "Stopzilla" and "natural textspeech" under the EDIT menu....ONLY delete references you are absolutely certain of. When the search stops on a hit, browse around the folder structure....looking to delete the highest level folder than contains the found terms.
I hope this makes sense, if not don't do it.
Doing this won't uninstall everything, but it will most likely prevent the offending software from loading or being recognised by Windows.
