For the first time in more than 20 years. we won't be celebrating Christmas at home. Heading north up I-75 to spend a couple of days with my youngest daughter, her husband , and my oldest daughter north of Gainesville.
So the house isn't as decorated as usual, and the tree is minimal. It will be different..and I'm loooking forward to it...  santahat

I'm hopping on the train for the 1hr trip up to Älmhult, and then in a cab to my mother's house. This is the first Christmas in a few years that I haven't spent in the US with my dad. We'll see if Swedish Christmas is what I remember it to be  Wink

Cheers
Mats

Sure, we're concerned for our lives. Just not as concerned as saving 9 bucks on a roundtrip to Ft. Myers.

Christmas-eve at my wife's parents house a mile and a half down the street. Then on Christmas morning, we head 120 miles up the road to Richmond to my parents. Same thing for the last 24 years..... except for 1990. That's the year my son was born, and being only a week old we didn't travel. Her mom was staying with us, and I didn't see any need for all three of us to sit around on Christmas day watching him sleep, so I called a buddy, and we played golf all day.....  bigthumbsup

During the holidays off uni (1 month) I'm off to Berlin (this Saturday until Sunday), Estonia (next Tuesday until Thursday), Michigan, USA (26/12 - 06/01) and Val Thorens, French Alps (snowboarding!! 06/01 - 14/01).

Actual Christmas Day will be spent in a hospital ward because my grandma isn't well enough to be let out of hospital.
