I went to a sale last night and bought a little something that has a French legend on it. While I know it has to do with lawyers and ladies disrobing, I'd like an accurate translation. It goes in my small collection of goofy lawyer stuff.
It's a small Limoge dish, and it has a picture of an avocat in his robe and a blonde doing a strip tease and here's what it says:
Pour plaider sa cause, l'avocat met sa robe
Pour plaider la sienne, la femme l'enleve
