Help Me Name My Kitty

I just adopted a new kitty and I'm taking him home tomorrow after he gets fixed. I'm trying to think of a name for him, but I'm drawing a blank. I'd like to name him something aviation or math related, but I'm open to anything. Right now, I'm leaning towards calling him Mobius, or Moby for short. What are any of your suggestions?

If it helps, he's about a year old, average sized, medium hair, and he's brown and white. His name at the pound was Oreo, for some reason lost on me.

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Math related... hmmmmm ... How about 'Square Route' ?  Wink

When I saw your user name, Maybe call him 'Nanook'. My nick name was 'Nanoo' because I couldn't pronounce my 'M's and my 'T's when I was little.

Cheers,

Why Bernoulli's Principle of course involving fluid dynamics...like the air flow over and under an airplane wing condensed into a nice equation.  Wink

As for the crack, I'd show some respect boy...I don't get my crack from LZ, it now comes fresh from the nether-regions of West Lafayette, Indiana...and it better be quality shit, 30k a year out of state!  Wink

We were joking about that in the office earlier today. Maybe if it was an all white kitty, but I just couldn't name a brown and white cat after a polar bear, could I? Plus I don't have that much alma mater/employer pride.

I also like Bernoulli (Bernie for short) and Gimli.

Decisions, decisions.

after he gets fixed.

Was he broken when you bought him? I'd take him back. Or is this work being performed under warranty?

Quoting FlyingNanook (Thread starter):

Well, considering that you are "getting him fixed", I guess naming him "multiplication" is out of the question, right?

Seriously, how about "Aileron" or "Airfoil", or maybe even "Rudder", but that sounds too much like "Udder". "VeeOne?" "Rotate?" "Turbine?" "Touchdown?" "Vapor?"

A kitty named Nookie, or Pi. Hmmmm,.......... I think that's been done before.

I think pets should have normal names. Yours sounds like a Charlie.

My cat was named Siber. I loved that name. He got put to sleep a few weeks ago because of Diabetes and he was only 8...so sad.

My other cat, who is still alive, is named Pickle, don't as me why my sister chose that name...I have no idea. Those are just two ideas to go on.
