Hi,
From a conversation on a.net chat, it got me thinking, what are the best Quality Street sweets and what sweets do you hate (if any)? Also, on what occasions do you dive into a box?

I like the toffee, nice and chewy  Smile

The caramel and hazelnut purple sweets are great as well along with the the big purple one.

I tend to eat them around Christmas time and Birthdays. In my opinion, you cant beat quality street on Christmas day,

Matt

I'll eat any of them without nuts. Though the pink wrapped fudge one is my favourite.

We have just finished a tin! It had NO strawberry sweets in it, but it did have individually wrapped blocks of Yorkie bars instead - these were the best, alongside any of the toffee ones.

Although the fudge and strawberry ones are nice. We normally have a big tin at xmas, although sometimes we have roses (not in the same league!).

Speaking of which its time we cracked the box open!

We had a tin with those in - as well as a Quality Street monopoly game or something like that! I think the Yorkies devalue it personally  Smile

They sell a lot of this in Wisconsin Dells. The tourists from Chicago buy the majority of it.

There are a lot of fudgepackers, too: Video Link

Am fed up of seeing quality street at the mo, we had hundreds delivered to us at work so it has been my duty to look after them(Yum Yum) and put them on the check in desks.

So if you're traveling BA out of LGW in the next couple of days you will get some sweeties at check in.

My favorite one is the strawberry one.  bigthumbsup

Definately Strawberry Cream, followed by Hazelnut in Caramel.

I miss the Peanut Cracknel, the one they took away a few years ago with the light blue shiny wrapping. They were yum!

Coconut, fudge, strawberry cream, orange cream and the chocolate covered toffee one.

The nut ones can all belong to someone else!
