i'm staying here for the holidays, eating country ham and green bean casserole and sweet potato pie and watching a marathon of my favorite holiday movies, from 'christmas vacation' and 'a christmas story' to 'white christmas' and, oh yeah, 'die hard II'

No, but my father's family is. My Aunt lives on 78nd street, and my dad's parents now reside at the Westminster Canterberry. We'll be at the Courtyard by Marriott... just don't stop by uninvited

Believe me, you'd want to go to Barrow . . . Prudhoe Bay is just an oil field, full time population about 10. Not a hospitable place . . . unless you're working.

I fly out to Phoenix on Saturday for 10 days @ my folks house. I am looking forward to the sunny weather and daytime highs in the mid-70s. A much needed change from the cold and snow I see outside my window.
