Wow, that story is so vague, it reminds me of a PDB that said that Al Queda had intentions of trying to hijack an aircraft in the United States sometime, somewhere. I love when they use an un-named source, how many times has that come back to bite them on the ? They're going to have to come up with a lot more convincing info than that for me to believe that things have gone completely awry.

Quoting LesMainwaring (Reply 3): if the NSA provided the same level of "intelligence" King George the Idiot had when he commited the US to war, they probably have nothing but tapes of bill clinton ordering pizza hut delivery
Probably true . .
. . . . .
I still have no problems with it. . . . please see the other thread on this issue so I don't have to retype everything.
i have no problems either with intellegence gathering, but i really think a court order should be obtained to keep the balance of powers in check ... there are even provisions to wiretap and then get the order 3 days later ... i just hate to see any branch of the government, regardless of which party is in power, have too much carte blanche
ho ho ho, have a happy
(i bet they've taped my 900 tijuana donkey show phone calls too ... )

ah back to the topic.
I am not surprised by this and I have a feeling feel that this has been going on for years, decades but the new nifty technology does make things more interesting, not that anything that goes on here would garner any attention
