MSN is probably temporarily down like usual. It sometimes happens to me...everybody else can get on but me...then a few minutes later it works just fine...

MSN is up on this side of the pond.

Internet Traffic Report is noting some issues with routing worldwide at the moment however. That may be what's preventing you from logging on.

There's an acronym used to describe these kind of 'my-computer-won't-work' kinda threads. I think the word is PICNIC.

hi guys,
sorry to free load off your thread, but i have an off topic question.

someone mentioned MSN Messenger and Windows Messenger.

how come sometimes when I sign into MSN Messenger, it says I'm already signed in to another version or something so?
Is this other version Windows Messenger?

How can I find this on my system and either delete it or set it to NOT automatically sign in when I log on to the net?

All I want is to run MSN Messenger and be seen when I want.

any help would be appreciated.

Its at it again...

I'm at home on my normal connection (NTL), was chatting to someone and MSN just died on me, tried to sign back in but got the message "temporarily unavailable" But yet its only me that's getting this? I asked in the chat room and they are fine..

Tried web and windows messenger with no luck either... WTF is wrong?

Kaz: Are you using 7.0 or 7.5?

7.5 didn't work for me at all, so I uninstalled it and downloaded 7.0 from Microsoft.

GOOD LUCK  Smile

Guys guys guys...

There's been 20 posts (Okay i'm exaggerating) like this in the past week..

There's a NASTY virus traversing the net, which is knocking things down all over the place..

Rest be assured that it's probably the same thing.. MSN is probably gonna be up and down for a while.

AIM was doing it too on the weekend.

Kaz: It probably was down while you were re-setting everything back up. Unfortunate coincidence I think.

Thanks!
