Ex relief pitching great Jeff Reardon is jacking jewelry stores. I always said they made 'em classy in Fenway  Smile

P.S. If Teddy Ballgame knew about this, his head would roll over in its vat.

(yes, I know they played in different eras)

"then blamed his arrest on medication he was taking for depression."

There goes another one taking responsibility for his actions.
My guess is "medication" has nothing to do with it.
I'm surprised he didn't blame it on the Curse of the Bambino.
Boston's not using it currently (though I'm sure they will again starting next year), so he might as well.

That's not cool man. Obvioulsly it was his time in Montreal that led him to this. Honestly, who plays baseball in Montreal  Wink

All those Yankees stay classy of course.
(cough) Darryl Strawberry (/cough)..don't forget reardon ended his career in the Bronx

It just amazes me that someone that has earn more money than most people will ever earn by just playing a game, would do something that dumb, and then play the victim by blaming it on not taking his medication.

This may actually be a legitimate case of medication influencing behavior. Reardon was not in financial trouble and had a son die last year.

I'll bet it was Prozac.

Hey, Dickhead: I've taken Prozac, and it saved my life. Get some facts before you quote nothingness as Gospel or truth. Careful who you argue with; it may lead to your downfall, if you have the sack.

Now, on topic:

Nice try, Chicklet Boy. He's may have been a Red Sox, but why single him out as one unless you are a pathetic Yank-mees suck-job?

He played for 7 MLB teams, yet you feel a need to single out the Sox? Erggghhh, it's not enough that you live in the USA dumpster, you've got to slam us? Blow 'ROC, my friend. See you in January.  tongue
