According to the A.net clock, its 2006 half way around the world. And some of of you will be getting up in a few hours. Where and what did you do on New Years Eve? anyone have too much drink??
I will be spending NYE at home with the family as for the outcome of what will happen I still have 6.5 hrs to find out. I need to get the liqour flowing soon.
PS: I hope this is the first topic post the new year in the Non-Aviation.
My New Years was great, had dinner then went out to the Jetty at CFS for the fireworks. BTW I won a fake dog at the Carnival thing. Then came home watched some movie then at 12 watched the fireworks in SYD and went to bed was asleep in less than a minute.

I am still up, and will be so for a while. It was a rather sad day in the hospital, a few major incidents with kids that really drove the mood of everyone in the gutter.
But so is life. 10 more hours on call and then I can go home enjoy my first sleep of 2006!

I've got to go to work at a bar for tonight, so I celebrated yesterday with some friends of mine who were visiting New York City. Went all over Manhattan with them during the day, then went out for a couple drinks. Had waaaay to much to drink at some bar near Times Sqaure, went to some other place in NJ, all of us went back to my other friend's place and I passed out their for the night. Good time had by all. Now it's off to work.

pretty tame here, went to dinne with 2 friends then headed to the pub for a few drinks, headed to the casino and that was it...nothing more shitty then watching your friends with partners getting it on when your the single person in the mix...

Wife and I spent from 8pm til 2am at the home of two of our closest friends (a gay couple), and a small group of their friends. Started at 8pm and we finally rang a cab at 3am. Considering the heat here in SYD (approx 38 celsius!) we had a fantastic time and a BBQ consisting of steaks, continental snags, and tiger prawn kebabs - yummo! We narly went up in smoke as the host started the 5 burner BBQ - and forgot to ignite the gas ! God if someone hadn't noticed...... and a cigarette had been lit we might have ended up at 36,000 feet
It now 2.48pm NY Day, and i'm on my 4th glass of Riesling and its bloody 44 degs celsius outside............... shudda got the aircon installed b4 Chrissy - bummer!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope 2006 brings health and happiness to all on A.net

Actually, it makes three of us. Anyway, it's better this way, because I still don't feel great after being at my dentist on Monday.

new years day was spent with friends at a picnic by the river, then back to the pub for more booze..i'd estimate between the 5 of us we've spent about $2000 on booze, food and entry fees this past 4 days! we still have a public holiday tomorrow which looks like another pub day.
