Alright so, it's still 2005 for some, it's already 2006 for others, the thing is, 2005 is over. I must admit it hasn't been one of my best years, but I have very high expectations and look forward to accomplish a lot of things in 2006. I'm 16 btw.
So I was wondering what goals have each one of you set for and what dreams are you focused to accomplish in 2006?
For me, since school is priority;
Go back to high school in Pennsylvania
a. get a "distinguished" grade in my graduation project (probably thesis).
b. get good grades in 11th and some AP courses for senior year.
c. put my heart down to soccer team and make our way to state finals.
On a more personal side...
Get a girlfriend.
Save money for a trip to Italy next year.
Erase down the little bit of accent I still have.
Learn more, mature more, etc, make of myself an all-around better person.
Gain a few pounds.
That's pretty much what my heart will beat for in this new year. I really want it to be a good one because I feel like I've had some pretty empty teenager years and it's getting kinda late for me. It's time for me to put my heart&soul into certain things. It's time for me to get in the fight. It's time for me to beat the obstacles. So wish me luck! May all your goals and dreams be accomplished in 2006 as well!
And keep this in mind... "Let's be realistic, let's be optimistic, let's seek for the impossible." - Che Guevara

Given the local redneck population, I dare say I'll be better off dragging my knee on the motorcycle than riding my bicycle casually.
Either way, let me know which ones you're interested in and I'll have them set aside for you.

My main goals? Last another year and have as much fun as I can doing that. Also want to learn more, pack on a little extra insulation, get a bit better at some of my hobbies and just try to be a nicer person. But mainly survive another year and just have fun doing it.

To get more sleep. During college time i usually only get 4 or 5 hours a night, and during the holidays, i have a screwed up sleeping routine and usually end up staying up all night and sleeping during the day.

Amen. I'm in the same exact boat as you, especially at my University, where there were 100 arrests in the first two weeks for alcohol-related incidents.
My resolutions...
1) Bring up my grades to a 3.5 GPA at least.
2) Get a job for the summer.
3) Become more outgoing and overall a better person (which is very vague, I know)
4) Lose some weight, ideally a dozen pounds or a stone, for those of you on the Island.
Those are it, I'm very realistic, because there's no point saying, "I want to buy a Lamborghini and get a 4.0 GPA and go out with Maria Sharapova." That's just stupid.

P.S. I thought someone would have already done this so I might as well go ahead...

I think we had 100 over the first two weeks, but that doesn't make it any better.
EDIT: Damn, that's exactly what you just said, what am I talking about. That's what I get for posting when I'm still half asleep.

Survive the year.......
Weight? I do plan to drop a few pounds this year (15-25 lbs ideally).
Girlfriend? Whatever happens, happens. I'm not really going to go out of my way and try to land one, as the way my work schedule is (I'm up before the sun every morning M-F) makes it a little harder to try to go out. I may try my hand at speed dating though....
Job? Quite happy were I'm at career-wise [at least for the time being]. But if the opportunity arose for me to get into a job that actually would lead to a better career, I might take it.
Trips? Vegas at least twice this year.

Wow. LOL. Not much else I can say, Harry. But you're right, thanks for the correction. We had over 100 arrests in the first two weekends. NOT. Oh well. Hope your break's going well. Cya next semester, maybe another day at ABE since I got my camera? Or a mini-meet at EWR after January 6th? Let me know.

Told my friend two days ago that I've liked her for a year, and she said what EVERY other girl I've asked out has said. "Aww, Antonis, I really like you as a friend, but we're too close to go out!" Damn! They all say the same darned thing, lol...Oh well. Once I recover from this horrible surgery, I'm gonna go out and find myself a smart, pretty, fun girl. To quote my mom's EXACT words from last nite. "Antonis, for 2006 you need a smart, intelligent girl you can talk to, a sociable girl you can go out with, and a fun, pretty girl to have sex with every so often." Got to love the European parenting!
