Two black cats, one long-hair and one short-hair. Blackie is the long haired, and Casey is the other. Both have their claws, but only Blackie is allowed ooutside. Don't ask me why, that's what the wife says....

We have two black and white cats, a male and a female. They came in from a shelter, and they were quite dirty and fuzzy to begin with. We decided to call them Smoggy (male) and Foggy (the female). After some weeks with us, we call the dick (female) and dicker (male) for the amount of weight they have gained!

My dog is called Chelsea. I got her from a shelter, and when they gave me her paperwork, she had already had 3 or 4 owners and each one gave her a different name, so I kept the last one to avoid confusing her even more!
When I was very young, I had 2 rabbits one called Andy Pandy and the other called Looby Loo after the children's TV characters.
I also had a gerbil, which I called Jeremy. Not sure why!
Our family dog when I was young was called Rusty, because of his color.
Currently we also have my brother-in-law's pit bull Jake living with us. Not sure why my brother in law called him that. I find it easier to call him Dick, because he is so stupid!

Nick is my cocker spaniel, somewhere around 13-14 years old.
Fred is the cat, he has an arthritic hip and a bad foot. He is named Fred because of a deal struck between my dad and stepmom after our last cat died. She could get a new cat but it could not be named anything strange. When she asked what an acceptable name would be, my dad said, "Fred." So, Fred replaced Stardust.
