I joined as a normal member (for free), then I became the first First Class Member ever, later - in March 2005 - I joined the moderation team.

I joined as a free member and have been ever since!

They had stopped doing mass signups, you had to email Johan to ask for a username stating what you would bring to the site, I got accepted!  Smile

I signed up so I could post a trip report, but I didn't post much in the very beginning and only started posting properly a couple of years ago.

I've been here almost from the beginning (my first photo has id 11617), but after I didn't visit A.net for some time, I came back with my userid inactivated and in the meantime A.net had become a pay-site. I didn't want to do pay for this then, so I lurked a couple of years before I signed up 2 years ago to come back here.
