Tonight here in the UK is a new tv show called Invasion. It is the pilot episode and I was wondering who has seen it. Is it worth watching?

Ive already seen the first 10 episodes, and while its a little slow, I quite enjoyed it. Definately going to continue.

Its reeeeaaalllllyyyy slow- you wont know any more about the characters by episode five than you do already. I started watching it when it premiered and gave up out of boredom. Now the lame show Surface on NBC- THAT got me hooked, though god knows why, its got plot/reason holes so big you could drive a semi through them.

What channel was that on? Something obscure?

Ah right.

The one that can't be bothered to make it's own stuff, then.  Wink

Channel 4 is one of those where you have wade through the crap for the occasional gem. And half the time (see West Wing) they shove it out onto More4 where you forget it's on.

And whilst I'm having a whinge about the utter shite that Channel 4 now put out, what is their obsession with lists?

"Ooh, we've got five hours to fill. Let's show the 100 greatest appearences by a cat in television history".

Crap. It never used to be like that, they used to do some good stuff. Now it's all lists, reality shows and US imports of varying quality.  grumpy

Like this you mean?  Big grin

To be honest, I watched the first 10 minutes of Invasion then gave up. If it is going to get to week 10 or 12 before anything happens, I'd rather not bother. I gave up on Lost too after the first two episodes it was so slow.
