Looking For A Cheap Hotel For 6-hour STN Layover

Cheapest I can find is 55£ (rhaa !).

Cheapest I know at STN is the Holiday Inn Express - but then £55 sounds about right for there. They may offer you a better rate if it's a day room?

Yep, but STN is devoid of hotels except the SAS, Holiday Inn Express and a Premier Travel Inn (I think), which offer 'value' but are not particularly cheap. It probably has one of the worst selections of hotels of any major airport in the UK!
