More of the same for the Saints..A quarterback coach at Dallas for the past three years, as anyone seen the quality of quarterbacks playing for Dallas during that period. With a name like Sean Payton sounds like he should be playing centerfield for the Nationals. What is a NFL team worth, (the Cardinals about $1.95) but the rest several hundred million dollars. Why rush to hire just someone? Its not just the Saints its all the teams. Just because he worked for Bill Parcells? How many of Bill Walsh's former coaches were really successful. Hum..whats the name of the guy in Seattle? Anyone else that comes to mind?

I would be afraid...very afraid if I were a 'Aints fan. This is a thankless job, with a lot of unusual and difficult issues to deal with, even beyond the affects of Katrina/Rita. Maybe he didn't like being around Parcells and that ego any more. Good luck.

Perhaps, but as Peter King and other NFL guru's keep saying.....it's one of only 32 out there.
