Hi gang

I just looked into the eyes of one of my tabbies and thought - you are so precious to me - I guess part of my family - I have no children so I look upon them as the same - anyone else feel the same ?

Claire

Not quite, but I would be well choked up if anything happened to either Treacle or Thomas (my cats). Thomas eats for England and Treacle thinks she owns the house.

Mr Harry Jingles is my great ball of fluff - my son, in fact.  Silly

My two cats, Felix and Mickey, are also great.

Moi! I have no children (thank God) and I am single. No matter what time I get home or what sort of state I am in, my cats are there to welcome me rather than tell me off for being late or otherwise nagging as a girlfriend/wife/partner might!

Since my cats are brothers who squabble endlessly but in reality love one another, I have given them new names - Orion737 and 7LBAC111!

Oh yeah, I love my dog!
She is, for sure, part of my family! Even my father, who was against dogs before my mother bought her, love our little Bichon Frisee!
She is now 11, almost 12 - she has grown up with me (I'm 20 now)!!  Smile
I can't even think of her death!!

Rgs!

Claire, that is exactly how I feel. Jefferson is sitting on my lap now, and he is purring, and he looks up at me with his big blue eyes - and I just melt. My cats are so completely dear to me. I love them like crazy.

We had both our dog and cat cremated and their ashes are in urns in our conservatory.  Smile

It's bloody expensive though, about £125 each!

You could bury them in the garden for free, you know.

We have no kids either, but have 4 cats and a German shepherd, the cats live the life of luxury in this house, right now 3 of them are stretched out on the couch and the biggest one is snuggled on my wife's lap. We have constantly had cats in the 21 years we have been married and each one has been an individual character.
