I have a contract with sprint which ends in march, I want to leave them and find a better service, so can you tell me which cellular service is the one to pick. Thank you for any info. Striker

Cingular or T-Mobile.

Id go for T-Mobile, cheaper. + You can roam freely on Cingulars network if you dont have coverage. It looks like your in NYC anyways so it wont be any issue, where T-Mobile has a powering presence....back still from the days of the Cingular + T-Mobile partnership (with T-Mobile towers in NYC and Cingular towers in NV + CA)

They are all pretty much the same. I work for a Mobile Phone Giant
and our customers are T-mobile, Cingular, Verizon and others. It all
depends on the type of service whic meets your needs. All of my customers
have good deals going on now, its a very competitive market.

Yes, but no denying the fact that T-Mobile is cheaper than everyone else. Try equipping your Treo for VZW, Cingular and then do the same for T-Mobile.

BTW, the idiotness of US Cellular,VZW,Spring/Nextel is further limiting for me, when I have 4 mobiles and sometimes want to use a different one on a different date or whenever.

You are probably right, I have not checked that rates lately.

$39.99 for 1000 anytime mins, free nights and weekends, $19.99 per month for unlimited internet and email, and $9.99 for 1000SMS/MMS. Try VZW or Cingular and see their data packages....exactly.
