This is Mexico's fattest man.
Manual Uribe weighs more than 86 stone and is one of the world's heaviest people. He has asked doctors to operate on him - because he fears he will die otherwise. What I want to know is how the hell did he get like that???

I hope they manage to sort him out, I would imagine the amount of excess fat must be really effecting his standard of life. Do you think he can even move with all that fat on him. Do you think they will suck all the fat out of him in one go? That is a lot of fat to suck out. Again, I wish him all the best for the future. If he has to fly to have his operation I hope the hospital pay for him to fly first class...

I honestly don't think he would fit through the door of a Boeing. He probably can't walk, and would not some kind of a bed. He'd need a dedicated cargo plane to fly.
I guess the problem is that once you become bedridden, there isn't much else to do but lay around, watch TV, and eat. That's the only way I can imagine someone becoming that large. Of course, you'd require someone to bring you food, so he has accomplices.

Quoting 9VSPO (Reply 13): Since he has to be hoisted into bed with a hydraulic hoist, I very much doubt he will be able to board an aircraft.
Have only just noticed the extra images/ information other than just the first image
It must be very demoralising to be stuck in a bed all day/ night. I wounder what he does during the day, with the quality of day time television it must be a very boring and lonely existence. Hopefully he will get fit enough to walk without help. 20 years is a long time to be morbidly obese for.
