I've been happily banking (yes, banking) with the Bank of Scotland for over 15 years. I'd even go as far as saying it's been a pleasurable partnership, me and my bank! Then in steps the Halifax and the formation of HBOS and it's been downhill all the way. What a transformation. The Halifax has murdered the Bank of Scotland. It's only because the Bank has so far managed to retain it's own identity that I've stuck with them, but when it inevitably becomes the Halifax, I'm off.

You got to hand it to those jocks, they know how to run a good bank. Anyone else had a similar experience?
