Support Airliners.net - become a First Class Member!

This is not about "self put downs" (if you will). Rather, this is an acknwledgement of "things I cannot do" (original title)

I cannot tie a windsor knot (I've been shown and practiced; I just cannot do it  Sad) http://www.tie-a-tie.net/windsor.html

I can not draw (other than stick figures)

On a positive note - I can compare and contrast methane and ammonia at the molecular level, I can make a pretty girl laugh ...

There are things I wish I could do but cannot; oh well

Cheers  Smile

No idea what any of that is, but I get the picture and it sounds good anyway!

I can't do Algebra, never could, don't know how I passed my maths exams at school. But I can Flight Plan from XXX to XXX, calculating en-route nav-charges, fuel-burn, potential cost savings, avoiding congested airspace etc etc etc. Bollox to my maths teacher who told me I was "a useless failure"!

I can't sleep

I'm incapable of being satisfied with my own work.

I don't really get on with people my own age - I always end up hanging around with older people.

I'm absolutely hopeless at maths.

I have a tendency to make my political opponents hate me to the extent that they employ the use of voodoo dolls.

  • I can't do math above the college algebra level (hell, even AT the college algebra level)

  • I can't run fast, or particularly far

  • I lack the type of charisma that wins people over to my side

  • I can't pay attention to things in which I'm not highly interested

  • I can't flip a goddamn omelet to save my life. Anyone for fritattas?

Supplied by HRH and Queenie!!

I am rubbish at making plans, I have goals sure, both at work and in my personal life and mostly I achieve them but it is all done "on the fly" . I also can't rehearse presentations or i feel the creative flow has gone out of it and a repeat would be a travesty, everything has to be done live.

But saddest of all I can't get over the urge to strangle The Hormones boyfs!!  Smile

KiwiinOz, note the Irish & United kingdom flags against each of our profiles. For us to go out together would require months, in fact years of negotiation before any agreement on any subject would be reached. Even then, further unnecessary concessions, negotiations, treaties would still be required in order that myself and Daleaholic could even begin to understand one-another.

It's doomed from the start....!!!  cry   cry   cry

  • I can't make music. No rhythm whatsoever. None.

  • Which means I can't dance worth a damn.

  • Can't remember people's names unless I see them written.

  • Can't throw a baseball from 2nd to home without getting it dusty. I can hit but I can't throw.

  • Can't take money seriously. Never cared about it. Made some, didn't care, lost some didn't care.

I can't sing. Any ability I might have had is removed after 15 years of constant screaming at Ohio State football games. I can't dance, either.

I can't dunk a basketball. I have no athletic ability.

I can't play piano by ear, even after nine years of lessons and about 5,000 hours of practice. I can only play if there's music.

I can't understand jazz music. The more progressive stuff just sounds like noise to me.

I can't hit a golf ball. I don't like the game, so it doesn't matter.

But unlike many in this thread, I can do math. I can write, speak, teach, analyze, design, and troubleshoot. Good thing I get paid to do those and not the stuff listed above, no?
