i hate them both. i dont bother to iron, i toss all my clothing into the washer (colours mixed in with the darks lights, etc). as for washing, i hate it. i usually do it when i run out of dishes bc they are all stacked in the sink. though at my parents house we have a dishwasher and i hate emptying it...

I have a dishwasher to do the dishes, and I have the parents to do my ironing Seriously, I prefer to do the ironing. We iron everything in one go, I can't be doing with ironing as I need it. I enjoy ironing when there is something to watch on TV as it makes thr ironing pile go down quicker.

Ironing is a drag but, I watch TV shows I taped or listen and laugh to Howard Stern on Sirius. I don't even mind doing laundry but, I loathe with a passion sorting, folding and putting away the clean laundry! Go figure. Cleaning the stinky box (kitty litter pan) is not exactly a day at the beach. Also, dealing with junk shit mail is a waste of paper and time.

While you run the risk of scalding in the shower by an unruly showerhead, the resulting burns are not even close to those produced by an iron at full blast. Plus, you would have that stupid looking iron-bottom pattern on your leg, arm or whatever body part was scortched. Even though both are risky, the sheer magnitude of injury caused by carelessness with an iron leads me to hate it more - the greater of two evils, as it were.

Don't really enjoy either. However, if pressed (pun intended maybe?) to choose, I prefer ironing. I just don't like getting the ironing board and iron set up, but once I start it's sort of therapeutic, I just let my mind wander while ironing. Lately, though, I've discovered the convenience of just sending out my shirts to be laundered professionally.
