They had a live concert on XM over the summer that was acoustic... He and the band actually sounded excellent...

As a matter of fact, I have it recorded and I'm going to listen to it now...Thanks!

I saw the Smashing Pumpkins maybe 10-15 times in concert.....in fact, I saw their 3rd show ever as a band back in Thanksgiving 1988 at the Caberet Metro...they opened up for Janes Addiction....

their first show ever as a band was an Art Institute party back in 1988....a bunch of my friends attended that show...they STUNK back then..

it wasn't until sometime in late 1990 when they got their act together for their 1991 debut of "Gish".....I was fortunate to see them a bunch of times on that tour ........ biggrin 

I've also seen a lot of their "in store" appearances, where there were only 20 people there (this was back in 1992).. biggrin .......
