Ok, the Super Bowl is on 5 February between the Seattle Seahawks and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Who here is going to watch the game and at what time will it be on in your local area? I'll be watching the game here in Germany on AFN at around 2AM on February 6th.
Also, does anyone have any predictions on who will win and who will be the MVP? For me it would be the Steelers winning 31-21 and Jerome Bettis being the MVP. Anybody else?...

I shall not be watching from England at midnight or so, although I'll be monitoring the score to settle a few bets. I'm more interested in the half day of duty on Monday.
My season ends when Green Bay's season ends. Which, in this case, was around 30th September.

Same here, this was not a good year to be a Packers fan...

My butt will be parked in front of a TV or at a sports bar to cheer on the black and gold!

Too bad they won't be wearing the black and gold. They will be wearing the white away jerseys for this game. I guess this is because they did so well on the road during the playoffs...

Quoting Halls120 (Reply 16): I'll be watching, but mainly for the commercials.
On AFN (American Forces Network) over here in Germany, they don't show the commercials during the Super Bowl or any commercials from the US. All they show are local infomercials...

That really blows! Most years the commercials are better than the game itself.

I will tape Super Bowl XL, as I have done with XXXIII on. Since I work on Sundays (shame on me!) I can't take part in the home festivities. By the time I get home I will already know the score... but not the commercials or best plays!

Sure I´ll watch it, either at some private Super Bowl party or at a local sports bar with lots of beer involved in any case...it´s gonna be the first Super Bowl that I won´t have to stay up for until 3am to watch it
Hopefully, by next Monday; the above-site will be updated to include this year's commercials.
To answer the original question, yes, I will be watching the game. Unlike last year, I won't be experiencing divided loyalties syndrome since both the Eagles & Patriots are out of it this time around.

I'll be watching for the adverts. Once the Packers are out of the season, my interest in football is lost.

25 YooYoo: Any reason for a good drink-fest. I think they should make it a home and home series.....aggegate score wins. Does the winner still classify themselv
26 BigOrange: I won't be. I hate the game! You'll find me at an airport somewhere or in A.net chat depending on what time it starts!
27 FRAspotter: I don't get why they say that they are "world champions". They havn't played other teams around the world to see if they are really #1. Maybe "Nation
28 FRAspotter: Anybody else out there from other countries besides the US going to watch it?
29 NHGrafx: I won't be watching it. I hate football, but if the Panthers had made it (my home team), which they didn't, I would watch it.
