I'll be getting in sometime in the early morning of 3/24 (0840 if I take DL or 0730 if I take WN; [decided against HP]), so does anyone wanna split a cab from the airport? Maybe find a place to stash the bags while we grab some grub and maybe a breakfast beer or two?
I was just thinking the same thing today. I arrive at 08:50 on the 24th. Sharing a cab is a good idea. Most hotels will let you store your bags as long as you'll be checking in later that day.

Quoting AsstChiefMark (Reply 4): What's the weather like in Vegas that time of the month? My guess is highs in the lower 70's and lows in the upper 50's?
Average high out there for Feb. 25th is 65 and the average low is 43. If it starts to rain (doesn't happen very often) it usually cools off very quickly, so I would suggest bringing sweatshirt/light jacket along for sure, and also 43 with no humidity often seems cooler than 43 and some moisture to me.
I'm really hoping I can get out there to go spotting when you guys go down there to the airport.
Let's start a spotting list for Sunday afternoon?:

I, for one, appreciate that effort at streamlining, but I don't have time to keep looking at different sites to try and keep up. May I respectfully suggest that we keep it here to make it simple for those of us not really computer savvy?

Oh, man....for those that don't know Aerobalance is an expert at navigating city streets in foreign lands, and can find his way to any train station out there.....
as far as the other issue....Absolutely. Let's assume that everyone can leave from the same meetup point on Saturday morning and meet at O'Sheas at the bar. One group will head to the dam while the other goes to a spotting locale, and we'll ask some locals to help with good spotting. Nellis AFB is in Northtown and LAS is easily accessible. If anyone is staying at PAris or MGM then ask for an airport facing room...or phrase it properly so as to avoid scaring anyone.

Well put. People don't need to post their hotels if they don't wish. All anyone really has to do to participate in the meet is show up at the appointed times and places. No one really needs to post their hotels...especially if your sign. oth. doesn't know you're coming....
