Well I never do it but some people in my class do it. Well it did happen once. It was 2 years ago. We had a really nice English teacher. I was feeling so sick after lunch. I juts put my head down on the desk and woke up halfway through the class. She just asked me if I was feeling allright.

LOL!! I have a hard time keeping my head up in class sometimes. Most of the time I am pretty alert though. Only when I stayed up all night doing homework do I fall asleep in class! I fell asleep on a field trip one time and a few of my friends put makeup all over me! I learned my lesson!   I always try to be a teacher's pet so I can get away with stuff like that!

Yesterday I dosed off 3 times in one period. My biology teacher is so boring. He rambles on and on and on. My eyes shut, and I slept for about 10 minutes. This happened two more times. The same day, in French class, we were watching a movie in French. The lights were off and I fell asleep. The bell ending the period woke me up, and I had to stumble to my next class where I continued my nap.

It happened in Geography two years ago. We were watching this movie on natural disasters and the lights were off and it was nice and cool so I fell asleep. When it was time for me to wake up, my teacher slapped a meter stick on the beside me on the table loudly. I woke up and said "Good movie" He said, "How would you know?" He wasn't mad though, meanwhile everybody else was laughing.

I have never fallen asleep in class... I just drift off to a happyland that is so much better than where I am at the moment. A land where Constitutional Law, or linguistics, or French doesn't matter. That and I tend to doodle a lot in class.

I don't think I've ever fallen asleep in class.
I tend to day dream a lot though and usually get screwed when I don't pay attention.
CALM(Career and Life Management)is one of the worst classes ever. It's required for a diploma in Alberta.

Never fallen asleep, but English class this year will be really tough. Our teacher had an accident which made his hearing really sensitive (fire alarm went off right next to him) so we all try to keep the class quiet. We also can get into long, redundant discussions about books that we are reading. And the fact that the teacher is playing a "soothing sounds" tape with a stream all throughout class doesn't help either. I sort of drift off into "the state of commercial aviation in California today"-land and then get really scared when I finally "wake up" see everyone taking notes around me.

777YYC: We had a class like CALM in 5th grade called "Life Skills". Most boring thing on the planet.

I never have fallen asleep in class. I probably never will either. But I do day-dream about flying a plane someday. My english teacher thinks it's cool I like planes, and she doesn't mind that most of my work in the class is about planes.

When I was in High School, I used to sleep in my 11th grade economics class and I sat right in the front row!!! I mean it was obvious man I was bodysurfing the top of my desk..hahahaha...sometimes drool!!! LOL hehehehe....and the teacher, Mr. Bass, would be sitting on top of the empty desk next to me lecturing!!! He didn't give a rip...his philosophy was, if you sleep and you fail, well you pay the cosequences...he treated us more like college students. It was a private school, incidently.

I fell asleep two times. In Japan, I fell asleep the last 7 minutes of the last lesson at school and had to stay in school for 30mins after dismissal!
In Hong Kong, my class was watching the "Elephant Man" and I slept through the film!

I am a pro at sleeping in class. I have been caught many times but never got in trouble. The best way to do it if you teacher is mean put your elbow on the table an d rest your head on your hand with a book infront. Never got caugth doing that.

Times I have been caught. Once I was in sleepenomics and had fallen fast asleep. Well I started to have a dream that I was driving my dad cars and before I knew it there was a car coming at me, well I woke very quickly and when I opened my eyes everyone was looking at me (including the teacher), according to them I made a funny sound!

The best time I got caught was the day I had to hand in a large english project and I had stayed up all night with studying and finsihing this project. Well I handed it in 2nd period, and when the teacher was collecting them and looking at them I fell fast asleep again!! This time the period bell did not wake me up, and the teacher left me there for 2 class periods, and break he ended waking me up infront of his freshman class just before lunch! I really was not too embarressed he was really cool about, and I had a good sleep!!

The think you will not get in much trouble depending on how good you are. I was a very good student, good grades, always handed my work in on time, not really that polite in class (I was more of the class clown!) but I must of done something right as I never got in trouble!
