What are some of the reasons that you are happy?
I'll start: I'm happy that I live in a country where I can watch the Superbowl, or not. Or go to get a gourmet meal, or drive anywhere I want, or post anything I want on the Internet.
I'm happy that the West is so advanced, that we have friends in the East, and that the chances of war with countries other than Iran or North Korea are rather low.
I'm happy that I can track the progress of our dozens of space probes from NASA and ESA, and that we know more about the universe than ever before.
I'm happy that science is still rational, as opposed to politicized.
Most of all, I'm happy because of my family and friends and all the love, friendship, and support they provide.

My great family... absolutely lovely "fur babies" (pets)- the fact that I kicked my own behind and got my first job just a week ago after being unable to work since 2002 (won't be hired before the 16th though )... and just generally life itself... all's gooood!

Am happy because I am working where I have always wanted to and have great fun. I'm also happy because I have such wonderful friends and family and I'm going on holiday to one of my most favorite places SYD in 27 days time!!
