Ok before x-mas i hadto put my cat to sleep...My rommie did not know and that night before she got home rescued a orange kitten from the street...SInce Ray was orange i thought wow...must be a sign....So i kept her.
I took her to the vet last month for shots and he said come back in a month and we will fix her....So Last Sat. i took her back to get fixed....The vet says he cannot as she is pregnant...
All the cats here are fixed and she is a house cat now....sooooooooooo esentially she came pregnant and she is only 8 months old....
So with our 3 cats already and these kittens we are forming a pride i guess.....
Anyone want a kitten???

Sometimes all you can do is look them in the eye and ask " how much did your mom drink when she was pregnant with you?"

Your vet is just unwilling to do the spay. A cat can be spayed when she is pregnant... but it is a more difficult procedure and she would need to be kept at the animal hospital for a few days until her fluid volume stabilizes. (She will lose the blood and fluid volume that was in her uterus.) We do pregnant spays at our local shelter... as difficult as they are.
In any case, if you need advice on how to deal with the kittening and raising the young, feel free to e-mail me. I have done foster care for two pregnant/birthing mom cats, one neonatal litter and one litter of immature orphaned kittens.
