Well it's started to snow here in Central Jersey. The predictions are calling for anywhere from 9 to 14 inches total here. Nice to see the first snow storm coming this late in the season, considering January was one of the warmest I can remember.

Anyone else going to getting snow this weekend?

You guys can have it.

Last Saturday, the Cleveland area was put in a Winter Storm warning for like 6 to 10 inches of snow. It never really materialized for much of the area. CO had geard up for a bad weekend, but Sunday was pretty bad at the airport from what I hear, but it could have been worse.

Now, move forward to Wednesday. The forecast here was for "on and off snow showers, with an inch or two likely." What happens? We get 6 inches at the airport, and 10 inches where I live! No warning, just snowing like crazy.
I think someone forgot the "off" switch for those "on and off snow showers".

Know who's fault this all is-that damned little tubular rodent in Pennsylvania! We had a perfectly nice winter going till that Phucker Phil saw his hairy shadow. I think, next Feb 2, we hang the bastard!  Big grin

We have a blizzard watch here in Rhode Island. I'm not looking forward to the snow, except to go sledding or something. I want spring! We did have a really good winter so far though.

I am livid! I spent 3 weeks in NY in November, and just returned from another 3 weeks there on Monday, and the only snow we got was something that looked more like frost, and melted away when it started to rain later in the day.

Curses, curses, curses!

We're gearing up for it here in BOS. Here's the latest forecast, although they admit that the storm may turn east a bit and perhaps we'll get less...then again, maybe it won't and we'll get more than this.  Wink

Here on Long Island there is a blizzard warning and we are expecting high winds with gusts over 50 MPH. Snow totals of 12"+ and white out conditions!

They say the snow is supposed to start after 4pm.

It's so fucking ridiculous. People buy milk and bread like it will carry them to the promised land. What dumb-fucks. It's a foot of snow. We are getting ready, and by that I mean pulling out the camera and shovel. Big freakin' deal. We should have been getting a foot of snow every other week this winter.

Here in the DC/ Northern Virginia area we've gotten about 4 inches so far.
And I think we are supposed to get another 4 or 5 inches more. Who knows
these things. But I will say this though, the snow is really sticking to the
trees and bushes and it looks incredibly beautiful! I can't wait to see it in the
daylight tomorrow. This is one of times I really don't miss living in San Diego
during the winter season.
The good news is that by the end of the week, the temperature will be in the
upper 50s so all of this will be melted shortly. People don't drive here that
well with snow or ice on the ground.
