Spur of the moment thing. I don't know what came over me. Never done it, 32 years old. And it's going to be cold here in Chicago. Go figure?

Hey, Chicks dig it. Perhaps guys too. I have been trimmed to the gills since 1998. Makes getting to work a snap!

I've done that a few times, usually at the beginning of summer. It's a strange feeling at first...kinda like the feeling you get after you cut your nails really short.

The book Freakonomics, in a section dealing with personals ads, had a discussion of various features in men and women and how they are viewed by the opposite sex. It turns out that women dislike it when a man is partially bald but don't mind men with shaved heads.

Interestingly enough Patrick Stewart was once voted the "Sexiest Man Alive" by some magazine... I think it might have been People. After seeing him on stage once, I'd have to admit--he's right up there.

Listen, if it gets to the stage where my hairline starts noticeably receding then the razor comes out.

There is nothing uglier than a combover or some guy making 'the most of what's left'. If it's starting to leave, help it on its way and go shaven. I generally have mine close cropped anyway.

hallelujah to that - I sometimes feel like walking up to men on the metro in the morning and asking them to really look at their reflection in the windows and then ask them what the hell they think they are doing ... bald can be sexy ... but a comb-over - NEVER!  vomit
