George W. Bush is coming to my work in about 45 minutes. Most of the people in our building are scared that something will happen hehehe
Building is surrounded already by Secret Service Agents, Capitol Police and City Police.
How many of you have seen him live?

Rafal
Washington DC

Yeah, I've seen him at the Innauguration.

Try to get his autograph on a baseball. For sure you'll make a few hundred dollars off of it. JFK's is worth $500 I think.

That's a tough one. On one hand you would think you were standing near a target, on the other hand you would think being next to the President at a time like this is probably one of the safest places to be in the world! Either way, it would be worth the danger to see him in real life.

Once I found out after the fact that I was sharing a hotel with Yassar Arafat. Talking about a target!!! Eeesh!

He works at the US Labor Dept.

I saw the video on tv.

How did you get the job? Are you a computer subcontractor for them?

GW spoke at my graduation ceremonies in 1997 at Texas Tech. I shook his hand and got my picture taken with him.

I also have his autograph on a baseball.

I've seen him live, but he was governor of Texas back then. (Actually, he was President-elect at the time, but we weren't sure how that was all going to work out.)

I've also been in one of his former homes - the Texas Governor's Mansion. (They give tours.) Big Whoop!

When he was governor, he sometimes used to jog around Town Lake here in Austin.

Awesome! You are so lucky!

I can't wait until President Bush comes to Seattle-- we're going to hang out at BFI and watch his VC-25 come in, then (hopefully) go downtown to watch him speak. I'd really love to meet him, but that won't happen any time soon...
