Anyone Like Beer Mix Drinks/Flavoured Beer?

Usually I am drinking wheat beer but today I bought a nice six pack Beck's Green Lemon to have something different, it is tasting very refreshing and it is not as bitter as pure beer, the only problem is that there is only 2.5% alcohol in it.

These Tequila flavoured beers like Desperados or Salitos are also nice from time to time but they are pretty expensive. In the past I didn't like them very much but lately I drunk a few bottles when I visited a friend and since then I drink the stuff frequently.

Anyone else who likes beer mix drinks or flavoured beer?

Has anyone ever tried these beers with cherry or orange flavour (I think they are from Belgium)?

Patrick

No. I'm not a woman.  Wink

Anyway, I'll gladly buy my $10 thirty of Natty Ice with its near 6% alcohol content.

Just don't start drinking Zima.

With a statement like that, you must be a college student.

Sounds tasty, wheat beer, coke and lemongrass. I will definitely try to get the stuff when I am in the beverage shop next time.

I think it's Pete's Wicked Honey Blonde . . . that's the only "flavored" beer I have had that I was able to finish.

Flavoring beer is like putting cream, milk, sugar, in coffee - or like putting water in your Whisky or Whiskey . . . .  yuck

Should be no problem actually, the regular Fürstenberg is also available all over Germany.

I tried a peach, pear, and apple flavored beer when I was visiting Germany.

The alcohol content I want to say was 10%...at least! Only time in my history of pillaging that I was carried home between the arms of two my mates.

Pissed!

I also enjoy a nice chocolate or oatmeal stout! Also have tried Pumpkin Ale.

Lehigh University, out in Bethlehem, PA. Natty Light is the beer of choice here, Ice if you're a little short on cash. Sometimes we get Yuengling also, since it's actually cheaper than Bud Light and MGD, probably because it's a local PA beer.

Yep, our very own Cory Cooperman. He's done great this year, currently ranked #3 in the nation at 141, behind guys from OK St. and Iowa St. Our team's only ranked #15 in the nation this year, mainly because of a bunch of injuries. Most of those are healed now, and Lehigh hosts the EIWA tournament next weekend, where most of the starters should qualify for NCAA's out in Oklahoma City.

Are you sure that wasn't cider and such  Silly

But I did have the Becks Lemon and also Jever Lime. Refreshing. Who ever said you had to have loads of alcohol in drinks to enjoy them (says the one who can't drink alcohol for a while now..  Sad)

Pretty sure it was ale, not cider. Our really nice German bartender got off work and took us to this Mom and Pap pub/diner. Started playing drinking games with those powerful beers...not wise.

There's a total of two flavored beers I have ever liked:

I've tried Young's Double Chocolate Stout, it wasn't too bad, not something I'd drink all too often. Sam Adams has a Chocolate Bock, I saw it one time at the liquor store I go to for really good beers and haven't seen it since.

I've tried the various fruit lambics and didn't really like them too much. One time I bought some Pete's Wicked Strawberry Blonde Ale, drank one bottle and sold a guy at work the rest (he was underage and took whatever beer he could get his hands on).
