I'll see them at Jazz Fest in MSY again this year...last weekend of April. They always put on a good show, although last year they weren't at the top of their game...a little off key.

Someone threw their shoe at Dave about six years ago and he has yet to return to AUS.

Austin also needs a bigger/better venue for stadium/amphitheater sized concerts.
Frank Erwin Center apparently doesn't cut it and most of the tours skip Austin because of technical difficulties.

So that's all you have to do to keep DMB away? Throw a shoe at Dave?
Hell, when he comes to Crapchester, I'll chuck a whole friggin' Payless at his braying ass...

I'll be @ the Sat. June 24th show @ Nissan Pavilion. I just have to make a phone call to a certain band member to get tickets. I am going to try to make the show @ the Hollywood Bowl as well.

O man, I'm a huge fan, they're an amazing live act, love them! They are definately worth seeing! I saw them way back in '99 at the Continental Airlines Arena in NJ; where they recorded a live album. It was a sweet concert! I see they're playing Randall's Island twice; if I'm in NY I'm gonna try and go with some of my friends.

saw them the first time at Jones Beach and since then, the venues are only getting larger/worse.
saw him at MSG twice and Giants Stadium, twice.
Too bad you cant see him in a smaller venue these days, also, minus all the pot smoking teenies.

yeah i love his live shows, they are amazing, but their might be other factors in this...but i hope to attend Tampa and Westpalm
tampa only seats 20000, with 10000 actual seats then 25yards behind that is the "lawn" it sucks there so its really nice and every seat at the ford amp here in tampa has a great view of the stage...
