Yanni is a 'musician', doing bainal crap but good selling music for many years. Maybe some of his music finally went to his head or his lady finally couldn't take it any more and flipped out. Still, it doesn't excuse the accused act of being violent to a woman.

Quoting BAxMAN (Reply 19): Yanni's 'Aria' is a wonderful tune. It's worth calling BA Holidays in the UK simply to listen to it when you are put on hold.
The only 'Hold' music worthy of a place on my mp3 player.
Yawn-ee's "aria" is a rip off of the aria from the opera, Lakme by Leo Delibes.
Maybe Yawn-ee in prison isn't such a bad idea. If they wanna rough up some boneheads in the slammer or get them to confess, all they have to do is make Yawn-ee play some of his music for several hours. That should get anyone talking. Now that I think of it, maybe we can use Yawn-ee to get some of those Gitmo prisoners to talk.

I don't buy it. I've met the man, and he has a calming gentle nature about him. If the girlfriend in question is the same blonde he was with that night....? Not too sure about her.....
I'm know I'm going to get flamed for this, but I like his music....it's rare in this day and age to find a composer who writes music that actually has a melody. (However, I thought that the Aria piece was originally from Flower Drum Song...no?)

Perhaps he was listening to Prodigy's "Smack My Bitch Up" at the time of the alleged event.

Consider yourself flamed.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Has anything leaked out about what we are making them listen to down there? If we play them Yanni, John Tesh, along with almost any hip-hop group of today those boys should be confessing in a few minutes.
