His early stuff on the Paul Hogan show was pretty funny, then he just completely sold out - and to be honest, our image has never recovered.
Barry Humphries is an awesome comic, as was the late Graham Kennedy. The rest are utter crap, and until someone can produce an Australian comic that makes me laugh as much as some of your American or British guys (i.e: Eddie Izzard) - I'll continue to doubt that we have what it takes to do stand up.
