Personally, being a Christian, I'd lean toward Biblical characters:

David, Moses, Peter, and Jesus

FYI, four guests = five people at dinner. Very unusual...but in keeping with you request:

1. Charles Mingus

2. John Coltrane

3. Henry Charles Bukowski

4. Albert Camus

I'd serve lamb chops, mushroom rissoto, haricots verts, and tons of red wine. The world would never be the same after that.

Damn, I'd be a sous chef for this as long as I could listen in. Good stuff.

I would invite -

1) Adolph Hitler (I would love to know who screwed that guy up so badly)
2) George W. Bush (I like him, many don't, but I'd love to talk with him)
3) Winston Churchill (The best PM ever in my mind)
4) Ronald Regan (The man led quite a life, even though I was too young to experience his presidency the books on him gave me a great respect for the man)

Winston Churchill is a fine choice. It's always good to have at least one flower in a patch of weeds.

We'd have dinner then I'd sit back and watch the floor show!
Of course, CastleIsland and myself would actually be together on the opposite side of the table from the others for some discussions! (Don't tell him that, though!)

Well I like Bush and Regan, although there is no doubt that Hitler is a weed. However, he is quite an interesting weed none the less.

Wouldn't that be quite the sight, although Rush and Bush would slaughter them, Kerry would keep saying "I can't deal with hypotheticals" and Moore would spend the whole time eating.
